Empowering Youth in Cambodia (EYC) is a grassroots organization based in Phnom Penh, working in 4 poor communities to improve the lives of young people and their families, providing education, health and empowerment programs since 2006.
We are currently looking for 3 qualified Cambodia n candidates to fill the positions of:
Full-time Kid Teacher of English / Part-time Kid Teacher of English
TEACHING SCEDULE:  Monday-Friday (8:00 am – 10:00 am AND 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm) / Monday-Friday (8:00 am – 10:00 am) OR (2:00 pm – 4:00 pm)
LOCATION: St. Phlov Lom, Klaing Saing, Russey Keo, Phnom Penh
Part-time Computer Teacher (2 positions)
POSITION 1: Monday-Friday (8:00 am – 10:00 am)
LOCATION: Along the Railway track, Beoung Kok I, Tuol Kok, Phnom Penh
POSITION 2: Monday-Friday (5:30 pm – 07:30 pm)
LOCATION: Along the Railway track, Tuol Sanke, Russey Keo, Phnom Penh

Full Time/Part Time Kid Teacher of English

• Female preferred
• Be a sophomore or junior of B.Ed. program
• Possess a minimum of 6 months teaching experience
• Possess a pedagogy certificate
• Speak English fluently
• Be able to use basic computer skills (Microsoft words, excel, and power point, internet and email, etc.)
• Have good communication and people skills, a desire to work with disadvantaged people, and be passionate about helping people
• Enjoy working with children
• Be friendly, patient, and enthusiastic in teaching
• Be creative, responsible, and hard-working
• Have a sense of humor

Part Time Computer Teacher

• University student in Information Technology or Computer Science or any related fields
• Computer teaching experience is preferred
• Be able to teach basic and higher level of Microsoft Office, Adobe Photoshop or Basic web page design.
• Be able to work in the slum area

Full Time/Part Time Kid Teacher of English

• Plan lessons before every class
• Create additional teaching materials/handouts
• Keep tracks on students’ progress and attendance
• Complete on-going assessment
• Attend the Teacher Meeting every 2 months
• Report the class situations to the English Program Manager at the end of every month

Part Time Computer Teacher

• Prepare lessons
• Teach computer to students in the use of learning materials and equipment
• Coach computer teacher volunteers on how to work effectively
• Develop teaching methods, techniques and materials
• Provide appropriate feedbacks on work
• Monitor the progress of the students
• Maintain discipline in accordance with the rules and disciplinary system of the school
• Update all necessary records accurately and completely as required
• Attend teacher meeting every two months
• Monthly report about program situation
• Fix computers if any problem occurs
