Health Poverty Action (HPA) is an international NGO (UK Registered Charity Number 290535) which has been working in Cambodia since 1990. Prior to 2011 we were operating under the name of Health Unlimited. The below advertised posts relates to Global Fund Fight ADIS, Tuberculosis, and Malaria (GFATM) funded grants awarded to HPA to implement in various Provinces.  The (GFATM) projects work towards reducing the incidence of Malaria and TB in the target provinces.  Please note that ONLY applications received using the standard HPA Application Form will be considered and applicants must at minimum fulfill the essential person specification requirements and demonstrate the relevance of their previous experience to the Key Responsibilities as stated in the full Job Description.

• Qualified clinical practitioner: Medical assistant or Nurse with extensive relevant practical work experience
• Minimum of 2 years progressive experience working with primary health care providers and community level health workers
• Previous clinical supervision and monitoring work experience
• Ability to develop and implementation training courses
• Computer literacy, including: Ms Word, Excel and Outlook
• Good team player with strong inter-personal/ communication skills
• Driving license (motorcycle/ car)
• Willingness to live and work in each target Province.

• Technical Duties:
  • Collaborate with other relevant GFATM NFM staff members to plan, budget and implement activities
  • Assist with the collection of data on a monthly basis from all relevant health facilities, and analyse/ report on data collected
  • To develop TOT and provide refresher training to health staff and review VMW activities
  • To cooperate with CNM- VMW officers team to conduct monitoring monthly meeting of existing and new VMW
  • To conduct monthly meeting with existing and new VMW/MMW
  • To conduct quarterly/ semester supervision of VMW/MMW performance at village
  • In collaboration with other relevant HPA-GFATM NFM staff members to conduct monitoring and evaluation of all GFATM NFM malaria activities
  • Provide support to other GFATM NFM staff to carry out malaria training session to Commune Council members/ VHSGs on the cause, transmission, treatment and prevention of malaria.
  • Conduct training for community level health workers on the use of IEC/BCC materials as a tool for health education/ behavioural change.
  • Responsible for preparing all relevant supporting documents & data collection from field site to produce monthly and quarterly narrative report.
• Other Duties:
  • Develop a clear understand of GFATM NFM the Malaria proposal including activities, outcomes, and indicators
  • Adhere to all HPA policies and procedures
  • Additional duties reasonably requested by the GFATM NFM CSSC, HPA- Regional Programme Officer/ Manager.
